NIU has released global sales figures for Q2 2021and it seems that their dominance of the smart electric scooter market is continuing.
More than a quarter of a million NIU scooters were sold in the second quarter of 2021. The total figure is
252,998, which is an increase of almost 58% on the same period last year. This follows on from several years of continuous sales growth. The figures for the first half of 2021 are even more dramatic. NIU sold 200,298 units in the first half of 2020 and 402,647 units in the first 6 months of 2021, a 101% year on year increase.
With the all new MQi GT scooter already released and the imminent arrival of NIU's first electric kick scooter, the KQi the future is bright as NIU redefines urban mobility. 2022 will also see the arrival of the EUB-01, a high-specification e-bike and the stunning RQi electric motorcycle.
All new models will be available at NIU Hull.
